Our second annual Bring Bowe Home WOD took place on June 29, 2013 at locations around the globe.
The WOD was for time:
400 meter run
52 push ups
30 kettle bell swings 53/35
9 box jumps 30/24
6 Front squats 155/115
After the 4 rounds, complete a 1000 meter row.
Four rounds for each year of captivity, 52 for each week of captivity, 30/9/6 for June 30, 2009. A 1000 meter row to honor Bowe who sailed the Eastern Seaboard, through the Panama Canal, to San Francisco.
Like any CrossFit WOD, the workout was scalable and djusted to any person’s fitness level. The purpose is that you are doing something to honor Sgt Bergdahl.
